Breif History
January 9, 1952 Barangay Carpenter Hill was separated from Barangay Concepcion (Bo. 6) and created as Barangay by virtue of Republic Act # 2370. Settlers behind the creation: Mr. Saturnino Gallo, Mr. Jose Bueno Sr., Mr. Galicano Morales, and Mr. Felix Ganancial. Carpenter Hill named in honored to Major Carpenter, who landed during World War II that camped at the hill known to be ? Bulog? now Purok Mabuhay II. 1953 Galicano Morales was appointed first (1st) Barrio Lieutenant. Captain Jose Bueno Sr. donated school site. Primary school constructed, and Ms. Milagros Duyo first (1st) teacher assigned. 1954-1955 Construction of annex school building. Mrs. Consolacion Esoy, additional teacher. 1956 Barrio Lieutenant Galicano Morales retired and replaced by Mr. Saturnino Gallo. Mr. Saturnino Gallo resigned after six month due to heart failure. 1960 Mr. Leodigario Basa, first (1st) elected Barrio Captain. Construction of one (1) unit School Building from the Pork Barrel of Congressman Salipada Pendatun. 1964 Mr. Bienvinido Pastera was elected as Barrio Captain. Next local election, Mrs. Virginia Bueno was elected as Barrio Captain. Transfer of school site along the National Highway.
