The place is very accessible by land transport from various points in Mindanao, and the most commonly used points of entry are General Santos City on the southeastern part, Cotabato City on the northwestern part and Kidapawan City on the northern part of Mindanao. Travel within Koronadal is made possible by tricycles and jeepneys and is connected to the rest of Mindanao and the Philippines through at least three major bus companies. People living in the rural areas are utilizing motorized tricycles as a means of transportation except in the barangays of San Jose and Topland in which public utility jeepneys are used. Populace of the mountainous barangays of Cacub and Assumption are using motorcycles, popularly known as skylabs, as transport vehicles to convey both passengers and goods. In the urban areas, constituents and transient travelers are enjoying the transport services of bus companies and PUJ operators plying the routes from different direction. Apparently, Koronadal can now serve its 118,231 population and the constituents of nearby municipalities in terms of transportation.
