Aviary Dome to rise in Rizal Park
As the city is now on Rizal Park Development Phase 2, the Koronadaleños will look forward at the newest attraction set to rise in Rizal Park with the addition of the 15-meter high Aviary Dome after its official groundbreaking held on Tuesday, January 11.
The said initiative has earmarked a P6.5M budget, and an additional P15M is expected to be included in the construction of the Interactive Musical Fountain that is funded through Local Government Support Fund – Assistance to Cities by the Department of Budget & Management.
The project’s development aims to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, as well as bring economic growth to the city.
In his message, City Mayor Eliordo U. Ogena has foreseen that when the structures are entirely constructed, there will be a better-landscaped park full of colourful flowers, live music and active trading among market stalls placed in the area.
“This is a public park. We will have programs here, we will be discovering talents here, I assure you. Saturday and Sunday, at least there is an activity,” the Mayor added.
