Koronadal City Archers team has instantaneously showed-off their strength during the first day of their event after they bagged two (2) gold and two (2) silver medals.
John Carlo Loreno got two (2) gold medals in his events 30m and 40m cadet category. Loreno, a 2-time record-breaker will be receiving an award on September 2 from 2nd Siklab Youth Award sponsored by Phoenix Petroleum at Taguig, Metro Manila.
Such award is based on his record during Palarong Pambansa 2018 when he undisputedly garnered three (3) gold medals, three (3) silver medals, and a bronze medal. Loreno was also considered as the most bemedalled athlete in Mindanao during Batang Pinoy 2018 Mindanao Leg held in Tagum City.
Siklab Youth Award is an award-giving body who also gave the same award to “Long Jump Queen” and heptathlon champion Elma Muros-Posadas.
Aside from Loreno, his sister Samantha Isabel Loreno, who played 20m Yeoman in girls division also contributed a silver medal along with Romee Jonathan Rioja who got the same award in the same category in the boys division.
On the other hand, athlete Renee Boy Atam in boxing event under 44.1-46kg division and Arnis player Alexandro Chavez in Pin weight category had both reaped silver medals in their respective events.
